This is the mounting arrangement that I tried first. I thot as I was landing, that this could BONK me on the head in any kind of impact situation. Will work on a safety or wear a crash helmit till it is figured out. The mount is a piece of house trim from the house in Spring that was removed about 15 years ago and it is "zip tied" on.
I have also discovered that the tinted windshield is good for SNOW and not much else in Houston. So I will be replacing it with a clear one. The tinting kills the contrast of the camera.
